Hope you read my first part of this post, i.e about creating a flickr account.( click here for part 1 of this post)

This post is on , how to start working with flickr.

1. After creating your flickr account , you come across a page like that given below.Click on ‘ Let’s do it ‘.2. Create a buddy icon (It is just like the profile photo in orkut, facebook etc).So find an image from your computer….

3. Choose a custom link your profile and gallery.

when you get a url of your choice (also an availiable one), click on ‘ ok, Lock it in and continue ‘

4. Personalise your profile

5.  First step of personalising your profile is complete, next step is to upload your photos.click on ‘ upload your first photos ‘

6. Click on ‘ Choose Photos and Videos ‘

7. Select the files you want to upload and click open.( you can select multiple files using Ctrl button)

8. Click on add more to add more photos and videos. Then set the privacy as shown in the picture and then click ‘upload photos and videos’.

9. After the uploading is complete, click on Add a description.

10. Add tags and desciptions related to the photo or video.This is important, because these tags will be used by search engines to list your photos.You can add a set a keep similar photos in a set.After finishing this step, click on save.

11. Thats all about uploading photos. You can find your friends and share your photos and videos through flickr.

Logout or signout after your works.

Next time when you login, you see a page like that given below.Click on upload photos and videos to do more.
