We shifted our CiTS server recently. Akhil K Nambiar (The real admin) told me all about shifting and he gave me new CPanel access. It looked fresh and i noticed only some minor changes.
I had to install Worpress for CiTS . I searched for Fantastico, but i couldn’t find it. I saw something new in that box.
I just clicked Softaculous, hoping that it would be similar to fantastico.
But i was wrong! Softaculous was far better than Fantastico.
It had extra options to add database name, directory etc for wordpress installation. Apart from that, there are also a number of other options in Softaculous. I liked it. It also has a dock menu at the top right corner.Thats really cool.

Scripts in Fantastico are mostly outdated. Softaculous always have the latest versions.
So its better than Fantastico is security wise too.
